NEW HAVEN POLICE SEEK THE PUBLIC’S HELP IN IDENTIFYING MAN RESPONSIBLE FOR BANK ROBBERY

NEW HAVEN- The New Haven Police Department is asking for help from the public in identifying a suspect who they believe is responsible for a robbery at Citizens Bank at 395 Whalley Avenue. The suspect, whose photograph is attached, is described as a black male, dark skinned, 6’00” with a medium build. The suspect has a small beard, tight ot his face, and was last seen wearing glasses, a gray t-shirt with ¾ blue sleeves featuring a round logo in the middle of his chest and the word “track” on the left chest. He was also wearing blue shorts and black boots. After the teller at Citizens Bank handed over a stack of $20 bills, the suspect fled on foot east on Percival toward Winthrop Avenues and then towards Carmel and Sherman.
